Riot Games Sensitivity Mastery

The Riot Games Ecosystem
Riot Games has built a massive competitive ecosystem: Valorant (FPS), League of Legends (MOBA), and Teamfight Tactics. Playing multiple Riot titles without fracturing your muscle memory requires understanding how sensitivity works across them.
Valorant: The FPS Foundation
Valorant uses Unreal Engine with a yaw of 0.07. Most pros play between 0.2 and 0.5 sensitivity. Key settings:
- Scope Sensitivity Multiplier: 1.0 for consistency, or 0.747 for monitor-distance match
- Raw Input Buffer: Enable for maximum precision
- Enhance Pointer Precision: Always OFF in Windows
League of Legends: Different Rules
LoL uses mouse movement for camera control and clicking for actions. Pro players like Faker use 3200 DPI for rapid camera panning. There is no traditional FPS sensitivity — Windows cursor speed and scroll speed are what matter.
Bridging FPS and MOBA
Use hardware DPI profiles — lower DPI for Valorant, higher DPI for LoL — switched via a hardware button on your mouse (supported by Logitech G Pro, Razer Viper, and most modern gaming mice).
Cross-Riot Tips
- Keep Valorant settings locked — never adjust based on a LoL session
- Warm up in Valorant deathmatch before ranked — LoL requires no aim warm-up
- Check our Pro Settings database for Faker, TenZ, Aspas, and Gumayusi settings
