The Tracking Titans: OW2 and Apex Legends

Both Overwatch 2 and Apex Legends are tracking-heavy games. This makes them excellent companion training titles. But converting sensitivity between them requires precise math.

The Yaw Difference

Overwatch 2 uses a yaw of approximately 0.006326531, while Apex Legends uses 0.022 (same as CS2). The easiest way to convert: use the DCPROSENS converter. Select Overwatch 2 as input, Apex as output — your cm/360 will be preserved.

ADS Sensitivity

Both games have separate ADS sliders. For consistency, set ADS to match your hipfire cm/360. In Apex, use 1.0 on the relative scale.

Muscle Memory Transfer Tips

  • Play tracking-focused characters in both games
  • Use the same mousepad for consistent friction
  • Give it 2 weeks — your brain needs ~14 days to fully adapt
