The Ultimate Valorant to CS2 Sensitivity Guide
Switching between tactical shooters is a rite of passage for many FPS players. The most common journey? Moving from Valorant to CS2. Both are the titans of the tactical FPS genre, but their mouse sensitivity systems work completely differently under the hood.
Why Are They Different?
Valorant (Unreal Engine) uses a yaw of 0.07, while CS2 (Source 2) uses 0.022. A sensitivity of 1.0 in Valorant is nowhere near the same physical mouse movement as 1.0 in CS2.
The Conversion Formula
CS2 Sensitivity = Valorant Sensitivity x 3.1818
Example: Valorant 0.3 sens → CS2 sens = 0.3 × 3.18 = 0.954
Step-by-Step Guide
- Note your Valorant sensitivity and DPI
- Open the DCPROSENS converter on the homepage
- Select Valorant as Input and enter your sensitivity
- Select CS:GO / CS2 as Output and copy the result
Pro Player Benchmarks
- TenZ (Valorant 0.3 / 800 DPI) → CS2 equivalent: ~0.96
- ScreaM (Valorant 0.78 / 400 DPI) → CS2 equivalent: ~2.48
