Why Warzone Sensitivity Conversion is Tricky

Call of Duty Warzone uses a yaw value of 0.0066 — very different from CS2 (0.022) or Valorant (0.07). On top of that, Warzone's sensitivity system is further complicated by its FOV-based Mouse Sensitivity Multiplier and a unique ADS mechanic that scales sensitivity based on zoom level. This guide simplifies everything.

Warzone Yaw: 0.0066 CS2 Yaw: 0.022 Valorant Yaw: 0.07 Conversion Multiplier: CS2 → Warzone: × 0.3 (approx.) Valorant → Warzone: × 0.094 (approx.)

Hipfire Conversion Formulas

CS2 → Warzone

Warzone Sensitivity = CS2 Sensitivity × (0.022 / 0.0066) = CS2 Sensitivity × 3.33 Example: CS2 1.0 → Warzone 3.33 Example: CS2 2.0 → Warzone 6.66

Valorant → Warzone

Warzone Sensitivity = Valorant Sensitivity × (0.07 / 0.0066) = Valorant Sensitivity × 10.6 Example: Valorant 0.3 → Warzone 3.18 Example: Valorant 0.4 → Warzone 4.24

Apex Legends → Warzone

Apex and CS2 share the same yaw (0.022), so the same CS2 formula applies:

Warzone Sensitivity = Apex Sensitivity × 3.33 Example: Apex 1.5 → Warzone 5.0

Or — just use our DCPROSENS converter. Select your source game, enter your sensitivity, select "Call of Duty: Warzone / MW3" as output. Done.

Warzone ADS Sensitivity: The Critical Setting

Warzone's ADS system is the most complex of any major FPS in 2026. Here is what each option means:

Mouse Sensitivity Multiplier (ADS)

This multiplier is applied on top of your hipfire sensitivity when you aim down sights. Setting this to a specific value ensures your ADS speed relative to hipfire is consistent regardless of zoom level.

  • 1.0 multiplier: ADS sensitivity = hipfire sensitivity. Simple and consistent, but makes 12x scope feel too fast.
  • Legacy (0% Monitor Distance by Zoom Level): Adjusts dynamically per scope zoom for a consistent perceived speed. Preferred by Warzone veterans.
  • Relative: A middle ground. The scale factor uses a relative coefficient per zoom. Most pro Warzone players prefer this.

Our recommendation for players coming from CS2 or Valorant: set ADS multiplier to 1.0 initially. This gives you the most control and predictability while you learn Warzone's gunplay. Once you understand the mechanics, experiment with the Relative mode.

Warzone FOV and Its Sensitivity Impact

Warzone supports 60–120° FOV on PC. Your hipfire sensitivity number should NOT change when you change FOV — the yaw-based conversion preserves physical movement. However, the visual speed of targets changes with FOV:

  • 80° FOV: Feels slow, precision-focused. Recommended for newer players.
  • 100° FOV: Standard competitive setting. Good balance of awareness and precision.
  • 120° FOV: Maximum awareness. Targets appear to move faster visually even with same physical sensitivity. If you increase FOV, you may want to also slightly lower sensitivity.

Warzone Mouse Settings in Game

Navigate to: Options → Mouse (under Controls). Key settings:

Mouse Filtering: 0.00 (disables mouse smoothing) Mouse Smoothing: 0.00 (disables smoothing) Mouse Acceleration: 0.00 (disables in-game acceleration) Raw Input: ON (if option available) Invert Mouse: OFF
