CS2 to Valorant Sensitivity Converter: Exact Formula & Guide (2026)

CS2 to Valorant Sensitivity Converter: Exact Formula & Guide (2026)

Why CS2 and Valorant Sensitivity Values Are Different

CS2 and Valorant both use fixed yaw values, but different ones. If you paste your CS2 sensitivity (e.g., 1.5) directly into Valorant, your Valorant sensitivity will be approximately 3.18× faster than your CS2 muscle memory — dramatically over-sensitized.

CS2 Yaw: 0.022 degrees per count
Valorant Yaw: 0.070 degrees per count

Ratio: 0.070 ÷ 0.022 = 3.1818…

CS2 → Valorant conversion:
Valorant Sens = CS2 Sensitivity ÷ 3.18

The Complete CS2 to Valorant Conversion Formula

Valorant Sensitivity = CS2 Sensitivity ÷ 3.18

Examples at 800 DPI:
CS2 1.0 → Valorant: 1.0 ÷ 3.18 = 0.314 (eDPI: 251)
CS2 1.4 → Valorant: 1.4 ÷ 3.18 = 0.440 (eDPI: 352)
CS2 2.0 → Valorant: 2.0 ÷ 3.18 = 0.629 (eDPI: 503)
CS2 2.5 → Valorant: 2.5 ÷ 3.18 = 0.786 (eDPI: 629)

Why Valorant Will Feel Different From CS2 After Conversion

Even with identical cm/360, CS2 and Valorant feel different in practice:

  • Time-to-kill: Valorant has a much lower TTK — rifles kill in 1–2 headshots instantly. This demands a different aiming mentality: first-bullet precision over spray control.
  • Peeking mechanics: Counter-strafing (critical in CS2) is less impactful in Valorant because movement inaccuracy applies differently. Valorant players tend to use more “wide peeks” and abilities instead.
  • No economy rounds: In Valorant, every player in every round is at full shields — there are no eco rounds. This means every gunfight is against a fully equipped opponent.
  • Ability interaction: Valorant agents have abilities that create new aim scenarios (flashing, wall reveal, orb pickups) that don’t exist in CS2.

Allow 20–30 hours of Valorant gameplay to adapt to these differences after converting your sensitivity. The cm/360 transfer is mathematically perfect — the adaptation needed is cognitive, not physical.

For automatic calculation, use our DCPROSENS converter — select CS2 as input and Valorant as output. The result is identical to the formula above.
